I. Core Process Parameters
(This is the foundation of the design)
Material Name: For example, municipal sludge, chemical products, mining tailings, yeast slurry, etc.
Describes the material’s physical state (slurry, suspension, viscous, etc.), particle size distribution, density, etc.
- Initial Solids Content (Feed Concentration): For example, ~5%.
- Desired Final Solids Content (Filter Cake Moisture Content): This is one of the most critical specifications, for example, a filter cake moisture content of ≤ 60%.
- Solid Phase Particle Hardness and Abrasiveness (Whether the Equipment is Abrasive).
Liquid Composition and Acidity (pH): This determines the equipment material selection (e.g., whether stainless steel, anti-corrosion coating, or special plastics are required).
l Room Temperature or High Temperature (e.g., 80°C).
The amount of dry mud to be processed per hour/day (tons of dry mud/day) or the volume of slurry to be processed (cubic meters/hour).
For example, 24-hour continuous operation or only 8 hours per day. This determines the size of the equipment and the degree of automation.

II. Equipment Performance and Functional Requirements

III. Equipment Structure and Material Requirements
Is ordinary carbon steel (Q235B) sprayed with anti-corrosion paint, or is higher-grade stainless steel (e.g., 304, 316L) required? This depends on the corrosiveness of the workshop environment.
Material: Polypropylene (PP), reinforced polypropylene, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE), rubber, stainless steel? Choose based on the material’s corrosiveness, temperature, and wear resistance requirements.
Style: Chamber, plate and frame, diaphragm? The material of the diaphragm filter plate (rubber mold, TPE mold, PP mold) also needs to be selected.
Manufacturers will typically recommend a material (e.g., monofilament, multifilament, nylon, polypropylene) and weave based on your material. If you have a preference for a specific brand or model, please specify.
Currently, high-end models generally use servo motors, which are approximately 30-50% more energy-efficient and quieter than traditional asynchronous motors. Do you require this configuration?
Do you have a brand preference for hydraulic components such as cylinders and pumps?

IV. Installation and After-Sales Information
- Where is the equipment planned to be installed (indoors or outdoors)?
- Is the power supply 380V/50Hz or another power source?
- Are there any space restrictions around the equipment? This will affect the equipment layout (e.g., will the filter cake be discharged from the side or bottom? How will the conveyor be arranged?).
- Installation and commissioning (does the manufacturer need to send an engineer on-site for guidance?)
- Operational training (how many people will be trained?)
- Warranty period (typically one year, but may be longer for critical components)?
- Are long-term spare parts supply agreements required?

Recommendations:
Provide a sample: If possible, please provide a 1-2 liter sample of your material to be processed. This is the most direct and accurate method. We can conduct experiments using a small laboratory filter press to accurately determine filtration parameters and provide data support for engineering design.
On-site consultation: Our technical sales engineers will visit your site. They can observe the entire process flow and the supporting equipment before and after, allowing them to propose a more comprehensive solution.
Define your budget: Although we offer custom solutions, having a rough budget allows us to optimize the configuration and provide the most cost-effective solution while meeting your core requirements.
